What will I receive as part of the EMT franchise system?
You will have training at our corporate location for up to two weeks. You will also receive our pre-opening help at your own location, for up to five days. You will have access to all EMT trademarks, approved suppliers, and our exclusive operational tools. And, we'll provide you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your business effectively.

What type of prior experience do I need to have?
Transportation or healthcare backgrounds are helpful, and customer service and business management skills are also important. Regardless of your skills or background, we will provide the tools and training you need to run your own EMT business. We do, of course, expect that you have the right amount of capital to invest in the franchise.

How much will the EMT franchise investment cost me?
The estimated required investment ranges from $175,000 to $242,000. As with any new business venture, it's important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Are there ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?
Franchisees will be required to pay royalties starting at 5% on the first $2M of sales, 4 % on sales between $2M and $3M, and 4% of sales in excess of $3M. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of new products, procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend $5,000 on grand opening advertising and $5,000 on their own advertising in year 1, $2,800 in year 2, $2,800 in year 3, and $2,700 in year 4, and $2,600 in year 5 and thereafter. We may also require franchisees to also contribute up to 2% (but starting at 0.5%) of gross revenues toward a system marketing fund. Funds are used to develop marketing strategies to promote the EMT brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials.

Is financing available?
No, we do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending agencies, on a case-by-case basis.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your EMT franchise agreement is seven (7) years, with four (4) subsequent seven (7) renewal terms.

How do I get started?
